The critical nature of AIP content
requires a stringent quality procedure.
The changing status of AIP content during the conversion process places
further demands on the quality checking procedure. An effective AIP quality
procedure must be one that is enforced during different stages of the
conversion process.
Checks are enforced during the working transfer of data from old sections
to new. When all content is extracted from the 8-part AIP, the two AIPs
are compared and checks are made based upon the tracked new location of
the data and information on changed text. A further stage of checking
is involved, to locate any minor or formatting errors.
